I have been wanting to try Jamberry nail wraps for quite some time. I think it’s because I have been following their page on Instagram and all their posts make me want to try them. So when my friend Rachel, who is a consultant of Jamberry, asked me to try them for a review, I did not hesitate.
I looked up a Youtube video on how to apply it. I must admit the video made it look way easier than I was expecting. It look me longer than I thought, but that was partly my fault because my husband kept talking to me. But total time for application (minus the talking) was about 45min.
3 or 4 days after I applied the wraps, I started to notice at the tips of my nails (where I filed the wraps down) started to peel off a bit. I wasn’t so happy about that, but I noticed that was only happening on my right hand. I realized that my left hand had trouble applying the wraps on my right hand. So what I did was I looked up another video how to reseal Jamberry wraps (I only watched part of the video). I resealed them according to the video and they stayed perfect for the next two weeks.
After the reseal they lasted for another 15 days. Then my right hand started to peel off on the edges/tips so I removed them. My left hand stayed intact, and I still have them on my left hand as I type this review!
My overall experience with Jamberry nail wrap has been great. I got a little worried when it started to peel off a couple days after application, but then it was all good after the reseal. I love nail art and like doing my nails often, but no nail polish has ever lasted me this long. My nail polish lasts me about 4-5 days. I am a mom and I am constantly washing my hands after each diaper change, and soaking my hands in warm water during my daughter’s bath time. I am also Ethiopian, which means I eat yummy warm food with my right hand (no fork or spoon). That is why nail polish only lasts me for a short amount of time. Jamberry lasted me a long time even with all the washing. I would recommend Jamberry to anyone. Just make sure to apply heat well and press firmly on each nail!
As you can see my nails grew out a lot by day 21, but the Jamberry still stayed strong.
